Whee! kmMail 1.0 has been released. Behold thee...
So, I know NewsForge will be running my interview today. Freshmeat will make the announcement, since, well, they announce everything. I submitted an announcement to slashdot, but the chances are slim to none that they'll publish anything. Still, I namedropped NewsForge, maybe that'll help.
I've begun cleaning up this toxic waste facility known as my home. The kitchen is somewhat decent, and the tub now drains quickly! Still, I'm a bit weary about the small red residue left when I filter the water from the kitchen sink. Ehh, at least the water isn't brown.
The landlord is paying people to tear up the grass around the house to replace with concrete. It's only about 50 square feet total, but it's still stupid. I don't know why people around here have a hatred towards grass. I mean, have you seen the plans for the new Union Square? It's all concrete!
The new westbound lane at the end of CA4 is open to the public... It feels much better going through at 70mph than 40mph.

I bought the new Simpsons Complete First Season DVD this weekend... Nifty stuff! Lots of Matt Groening commentaries.
Speaking of DVD's, I finally bought a replacement DVD player for my TV, a $100 Daewoo. It works alright, even plays burned VCD's and MP3 CD's. Unfortunately I must return it anyways. It doesn't work with my $50 RCA universal remote, and I don't feel like doing IR Learn on all 50 or so buttons.
